“Fun and enjoyable place to work”

Pros:

We are open to ideas from everyone and if someone has a great idea then before you know it it's been put into practice. And as we are a small team everyone knows each other and works together to get the best outcome for our customers and our staff

Cons:

We are fast-paced and everyone has to pitch in. We also work hard and keep going until we get done what needs to be done. So sometimes that makes for a challenging environment and therefore it's not for everyone. You have to be a team player and not stand on ceremony.

Pros:

It’s refreshing to work for a company that is committed to professional growth as well as supportive in personal growth.

Cons:

Even though it's a very enjoyable atmosphere, you still need to be prepared to put the hard work in.

“Not just another number in a big institution”

Pros:

SocietyOne's continuous effort to remain the #1 marketplace lender in Australia cultivates a high performance & innovative culture which is very exciting to be a part of.

Cons:

People resist change & are sometimes not able to be flexible and adjust when the situation needs it the most. Working for a start-up/scale up company you encounter such situations daily, some people embrace the challenger but for others it just isn't the right work environment for them.
