“Amazing place to work!”

Pros:

The reasons why I love working at Lotus People is the team environment and emphasis on doing things different from other recruitment agencies. The approach is very much geared towards building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and candidates and supporting team members with providing insight/suggestions to help one another succeed.

There are so many benefits that are just extra bonuses; flexible work hours (an understanding of work life balance), team incentives, weekly Yoga/Personal Training Sessions, Breakfast on Friday with an early finish, and snacks throughout the week.

I would highly recommend working for Lotus People for someone who is a team player, has a warm and honest approach to sales and eager to grow organically with the company!

Cons:

I would say there are no cons, however, for someone who is looking to work for a big corporate business this wouldn't be the place for them.

Lotus People, would suit those who are eager to progress and grow with the business on a warmer sales approach.

Pros:

The first thing I love about Lotus is that there isn't a "one size fits all" approach to management; I am supported to do recruitment my way, as they recognise that my way works for me and gets me results. That means allowing me to work in a slightly more intuitive way (as opposed to very formulaic/KPI driven approach, which works for some but not for me!). I am expected to follow our key processes, but I am not micro-managed.

We have great systems that are simple and effective and we receive great training on those systems. We also have a continuous improvement mentality and all staff are encouraged to speak up if something isn't working; if something works we do it, if it doesn't we change it. We also hold each other to account and flag when systems or processes aren't adhered to.

Lotus also fosters a very collaborative style of working; the team is expected to recommend candidates to each other and bounce ideas off each other rather than work in silos or with tunnel vision. We are all expected to maintain high levels of client and candidate care to ensure that our brand is strong and that our reputation is sterling on the market.

Lastly, we have a great team who I genuinely enjoy being around!

Cons:

As a new start up our brand still has fairly low recognition on the market, although I do think this is beginning to change. We do hear a lot of "I haven't heard of you before" when marketing and screening candidates, but I am very confident that this will change over time.

“Best company I've ever worked for”

Pros:

Lotus people is just different from anything other company. Recruitment is stressful and both my directors have taken away all the negatives and made it a happy place to work. We have a good work life balance, we do yoga, we eat healthy, have flexi hours, we have fun and most importantly we make a lot of money!

Cons:

The con would be that it's going to make it very hard for me to leave to go back to the UK!

Pros:

This company would be a great employer to work for as the company culture is second to none. The culture is vibrant, fun and energetic which makes coming to work everyday a pleasure. The team all work incredibly hard, and achieve their goals with the support from colleagues around them.

Cons:

The only reason would wouldn't enjoy working for this company is if you prefer to work in a more serious and dull environment.
